Our Center Researchers Assoc. Prof. İrem Yıldırım and Assoc.Prof. Ümit Özgür Akdemir received a verbal presentation award at the 56th National Neurology Congress with their work titled "The effect of temporal and extratemporal cortical glucose metabolism rates on surgical prognosis in FDG-PET in patients with resistant temporal lobe epilepsy". In this study, the effects of video-EEG monitoring, PET and 3T MRI on surgical treatment and prognosis in epilepsy cases were evaluated in detail.

The study conducted in partnership with Istanbul University, Gazi University and Mersin University, in which the features of COVID-19 headache were investigated on 3458 people, received a paper award at the 56th National Neurology Congress.

Prof. Dr. Bülent Cengiz and Prof. Dr. Nevzat Gencer carries out a project to reverse motor loss with hybrid (magnetic / electrical) transcranial stimulation within the scope of the multi-center, multidisciplinary European Union consortium project (ERA NET JNNP) in Parkinson's disease.
