Award to our research member Prof. Dr. Elvan İŞERİ

Given by the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP) since 2013, "Dr. Ülkü Ülgür International Scientist" award was presented this year to Prof. Dr. Elvan İŞERİ, Head of the Department of Child and Adolescent Mental Health and Diseases of the Faculty of Medicine of our University.

The award ceremony was held at the AACAP-CACAP congress held in Toronto on October 18, 2022. We congratulate Prof. Dr. Elvan İŞERİ and wish her continued success.

The biannual “Dr. Ülkü Ülgür International Scientist'' award was initiated under the leadership of Dr. Ülkü Ülgür, who has been working in the field of child and adolescent psychiatry for more than fifty years in the USA and is recognized as an international leader in this field. The award is given to child and adolescent psychiatrists who have made significant contributions to the field of child and adolescent mental health in various countries of the world.
