The neuropsychiatry center has a physical and technical infrastructure that it can use. The unit has no permanent staff. Its internal stakeholders consist of academic staff from different departments of the main medical faculty. Its external stakeholders are Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Pharmacology, METU Informatics Institute, Department of Cognitive Sciences, Balıkesir University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Neurology, and TED University Department of Mechatronics. Weekly regular research and seminar meetings are held with internal stakeholders. These meetings have been going on for the last 10 years without interruption. External stakeholders can also attend these meetings. Workshops are held twice a year with external stakeholders.
Gazi NPM is one of the stakeholders of the Neuroscience and Neurotechnology Center of Excellence (NÖROM), which was jointly established by three universities (Gazi, Ankara and Middle East Technical) in Ankara on 21 November 2019, supported by the T.C. Presidency Strategy and Budget Directorate.
In the selection of doctoral students, basic TUS / ALES score and language score, as well as interest and research desire for neuroscience are based on. The researches are carried out by discussing the scientific criticism and feedback of all unit employees from the planning stage to the completion of the publishing stage.
